Adrien Brody Is Back—and Bigger Than Ever
Adrien Brody, who first stunned the world with his Best Actor Oscar win for The Pianist in 2003, took home his second Best Actor Oscar in 2025 (People).
At the 97th Academy Awards on March 2, 2025, he was honored for his powerful role in The Brutalist, playing a Hungarian-Jewish architect rebuilding his life in post-war America (Washington Post).
Brody’s performance also won top acting honors at the Golden Globes, BAFTA, and Critics’ Choice Awards (People).
During his Oscar speech, he broke the record for longest acceptance speech—five minutes and 40 seconds—talking about war, antisemitism, and racism, and even asked the orchestra to stop the music (Variety).
